Visiting the Biennale Artist-Friar

Sidival Fila has two passions, or rather, vocations. The first he got 30 years ago. He was called to God, as it is called. The other calling is of younger date: being artist.

His art involves the use of fabrics, and in particular restored monk’s habit, parchment and old documents.

We were recently in his studio with possibly the most spectacular view over Rome.
